Song Writing (A Bleak Attempt)
It’s not everyday that I get to write. Well, I have just been preoccupied with a whole lot of nonsense and a small amount of schoolwork. I know, not exactly how a law student should set his priorities, and I have not gotten any better since my last attempt at change. So again, I’m trying to cut off the fat (not literally) and just trying to live a lifestyle that could hopefully set things straight. (Seems like this blog is my go-to when I want to change something. Sorry blog.)
Back in High School, I used to write a whole lot. Blogging wasn’t that of a craze back then, so I was restricted to the confines of a notebook. I still have that with me, but I did the stupidest thing by ripping off the pages and burning them. C’est la vie. Anyhow, I wanted to go back to a time when I lived a simple life; not caring what I have to do online and just write what I can think of. Well, last night was a night just for that.
Well, without further ado, here’s what I wrote:
What can I say
there are no words
guess I’m just this way.What can I do
to be heard
I haven’t got a clue.I never tried to find
guess I’m that blind
can’t seem to really say what’s on my mind…That I’m so lost, can’t find my way
I’m so confused that I’m just dazed.
And I don’t know why, but I just may
Kick your ass and turn awayCause I just don’t know what I’m gonna do
I can’t seem to really stand you
So shut it when I try to say
“STFU, just go away.”
Not exactly positive, but it’s me who’s talking here.
In essence, the “song” is about how a person tries to find a way to make the other person leave, but just loses it in the end.
Hope I could continue writing, but next time on a more positive note.
